The event on the topic of “Installation and use of all types of pressurised gas containers in vehicles and here generally in motor caravans and caravans”, which was to take place in Bad Camberg from 4 – 5 March 2022, has been postponed to 20 – 21 May 2022.

Anyone who installs pressurised gas cylinders in vehicles without the necessary expertise should be aware that this can result in a lot of trouble. To prevent this from happening, the German Association for Gas Technology e.V. (GAGT), together with Alugas Technologie GmbH, is offering a two-day technical training course. The topic of the event: “Installation and use of all types of pressurised gas containers in vehicles and here generally in motor caravans as well as caravans”. Particular attention will be paid to the nature of product liability, including product safety, when installing pressurised gas containers in vehicles.
Against the background of the latest legal principles in Germany and Europe, the seminar will address all points that are necessary to make life easier for owners of installation companies in the workshop as well as in sales and dealing with customers. In the event of any difficulties that may arise, the organisers will offer practical solutions. Also on the agenda are gas testing according to DVGW G 607 for motor caravans and caravans as well as gas system testing according to § 41a STVZO.
In the practical part, Alugas will impart all the necessary technical knowledge for the proper installation of its products and at the end of the event will issue each participant with an “Alugas certificate” attesting to their “expertise” in the installation of Alugas “Travel Mate” fuel cylinders.
The number of participants is limited to 50. The fee of 680 euros (320 euros for GAGT members) includes two lunches with one drink each and beverages during the breaks. Registrations will be accepted until 31 April 2022 at peter.ziegler@gagt.de.
